SHORT BIOGRAPHY AND WRITINGS

Mrs. Christine Watkins is an inspirational speaker and author, who holds a Master's degree in Theological Studies from the Jesuit School of Theology at the Graduate Theological Union and a Master's degree in Social Welfare from U.C. Berkeley's School of Social Welfare. She is trained in Ignatian spirituality and discernment, with ten years' experience as a spiritual director, bereavement counselor, retreat leader, and parish mission preacher. In addition, she is currently working as a post-abortion healing director and leads Rachel's Vineyard Retreats. Her past positions include work with the elderly, the homeless, persons with AIDS, as well as the positions of resident minister and assistant liturgist for the University of San Francisco. She taught English at a language school in Spain, and danced professionally with the San Francisco Ballet Company. She has been featured on the Focus Television Network, interviewed for ABC Nightline's Marian special, "The Miracle Mysteries", as well as for numerous radio programs, and is the author of Full of Grace: Miraculous Stories of Healing and Conversion through Mary's Intercession, published by Ave Maria Press. Mrs. Watkins currently lives in California with her husband and two sons.
