| SHORT BIOGRAPHY AND
WRITINGS
Mrs. Christine Watkins holds a Master’s degree in Theological Studies from the Jesuit School of Theology at Berkeley and a Master’s degree in Social Welfare at the University of California at Berkeley’s School of Social Welfare. In 2006, she received her license as a Clinical Social Worker. She is trained in Ignatian spirituality and discernment, with nine years of work experience as a spiritual director, bereavement counselor, retreat leader and mission preacher. Her past positions include work with the elderly, the disabled, the homeless, persons with AIDS and war veterans, as well as the positions of resident minister and assistant liturgist for the University of San Francisco, English teacher at a language school in Spain, and professional dancer with the San Francisco Ballet Company. She has been featured on the FOCUS Television Network and is completing a book titled, Would You Believe? Stories of Miraculous Conversion. She currently lives in California with her husband and son.
